On October 17th 2008, Tehran Heart Center(THC) organized a running event for cardiac patients starting from Laleh park an ending in the hospital.

 

Accu-ChekŪ sponsored the event by providing Blood Glucose Measurement for Persons with Diabetes before the event to detect Persons with Diabetes with blood glucose levels out of 100-300 mg/dl range, and also screening other participants for diabetes mellitus.

Several hundreds of cardiac patients participated, all finishing the event with no adverse incidents.
